Barbora Keherova

is a Slovak illustrator and art director based in Los Angeles. Her work blends architectural structure with playful storytelling, creating vibrant compositions that sit between design, narrative, and visual world-building. Surreal and imaginative, her illustrations often depict lively scenes filled with expressive characters, bold color, and symbolic objects, where dreamlike situations unfold with subtle humor. Through layered compositions and graphic textures, she aims to infuse simple drawings with deeper meaning.

She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Vienna, where she developed a strong foundation in composition, spatial thinking, and visual structure. This architectural background continues to shape her illustration practice today.

Barbora works across editorial illustration, brand collaborations, and product design, and is increasingly expanding her practice into art direction and visual concept development for commercial and cultural projects. Her clients include Le Chocolat des Français, Bloomberg, Ferment Magazine, Freundin Magazine, and Unreal Mobile.
